When is the last time you reviewed your insurance coverages?

The purpose of insurance planning is to identify risks that could disrupt your financial plan and determine whether your current coverage aligns with your needs.

Our role is to help evaluate how insurance fits within your broader financial plan. When appropriate, we may make insurance recommendations based on your individual circumstances and objectives. We may also collaborate with insurance professionals and other advisors to help coordinate those recommendations with your overall planning strategy.

Common reasons to review your insurance plan include:

01

A significant change in your assets, income sources, and/or liabilities.

02

Changes in your family circumstances, dependents, and/or beneficiary designations.

03

Changes in the terms of your current coverages.

04

Changes in your overall planning objectives.

We typically recommend reviewing your insurance policies every 3–5 years. This does not necessarily mean your coverage needs will change that often, but regular reviews help assess whether your coverage continues to reflect your current circumstances. Most importantly, regular reviews help identify whether you have the appropriate protection in place for the people, assets, and priorities that matter most to you.
